Wouter Haak – Managing Director

Wouter is the Managing Director for ExSilent NL and ExSilent US since 2010. Wouter is a newcomer to the Hearing Aid industry. Prior to ExSilent, he was General Manager for the Italian, French, Belgian and Turkish classifieds business for eBay. Prior to eBay, Wouter worked as a strategy consultant for the Boston Consulting Group.

 

Jan van Doorn – R&D Director

Jan holds a masters degree in Applied Physics and worked for more than 20 years for Sonion, in various R&D positions and product management. Jan has several patents on his name in the transducer area.

 

Hans Zwart – Business Development Director

Hans – a trained audiologist – has more than 20 years experience in the Hearing Aid industry. Hans has built several Hearing retail chains in the Netherlands and Germany. Hans works for ExSilent since 2008.

 

 

 

Jolanda Blankendaal – Human Resources

Jolanda has a background in European Studies after which she focused on coordination of interim professionals.

 

Erik Altena – Purchasing and Operations Director

Erik is an all-round engineer and business person. He has a background in purchasing and production of electronic devices and medical product design. Erik has been with ExSilent since 2010. Erik holds a degree in Management of International Business (HEAO)

Caroline Ammerlaan - Chief Financial Officer 

 
Caroline started in July 2011 as the Chief Financial Officer of ExSilent. Prior to ExSilent, she worked as a certified accountant at PwC.
